REVASTRA PERSPECTIVES.

The Book

The heartbeat, a book, a mountain, an archive. This book, published by Penguin, is the evidence of Indian ritualistic philosophy. As a neurodivergent creator, it was a mountain to climb. It took a million words, fifty cross-city interviews, and countless sketches across four years to arrive here. If I survived writing it, you will survive reading it.
The story, tracking back. The work began in the isolation of caregiving. Managing, un-hoarding, and upcycling Amma’s heirloom sarees during her dementia became the anchor back to an identity I thought I’d had lost. During the pandemic, I documented the textile and wellness rituals that kept me sane. By 2025, those notes became this archive.
The essence, the translation. This text shares the mechanics of ancient Indian practices for emotional decluttering. These are old frameworks tweaked for modern life, designed to ground your body, mind, and wardrobe.
If the book is the foundational wisdom, Revastra is the playground. It is where you stop reading, start moving, and inhabit your skin.

Use ancient Indian rituals to clear emotional clutter. Heal the fracture between your home, your body, and your wardrobe.

But only what is needed, always with love.

“I am glad Amma did not nurture or breathe taboos. She did not let them grow like mould on us as kids. She, as a creature of a society, quietly weeded and sponged them for us when needed, but let them live and grow around her.”

The E-Book

Stories stitched from the inside out.

A wardrobe is not just a collection of clothes. It is a quiet archive of your life, storing fragments of memory, belonging, and identity. Within each piece lies a story waiting to be rediscovered, a map stitched from cloth, ritual, and emotion.
And almost always, it starts from the inside.

This downloadable e-book was written for Slow Fashion Global, a movement turning the fashion industry back toward local urgency.

Look at what you already own with entirely new eyes.

Treat the daily act of dressing not as consumption, but as a grounding, circular, and bodily practice.

The subtext of the wardrobe.
A weekly stack of heartfelt essays investigating identity, yoga, and ritualistic fashion.

I write about people, products, processes, purpose, and even pain. These are the silences and sighs behind the physical objects we hoard, and the sometimes-disjointed thoughts we think.

On some days, this space carries stories built through paid brand partnerships. I will always tell you when money has entered the room.

Re (Again/Renew) + Vastra (Cloth/Sheath)

I built this platform out of those questions, life transitions, and the reality of a neurodivergent brain. This is the space where you stop consuming text and start moving… learning to align how you feel inside with how you dress outside. No fashion fluff. Just stories as perspectives and rituals as practices applied at your own pace.

We Stitch Three Sheaths Together

We map this through simple learning across three core layers:

  • Your Body | Somatic movement to drop physical stress.
  • Your Mind | Unfiltered writing to cut through mental fog.
  • Your Wardrobe | Conscious styling rooted in circular practices.
When these layers are misaligned, you feel friction. You cannot create anything authentically or powerfully. But when they harmonise, you find your expression and rhythm, even if it feels inconsistently consistent at first.
The Boundary
This is not just styling. This is not just branding.

It holds elements of both, but at its core, this is deep internal work. You absorb mindfully-curated information on both before you ever dress up or dress down. This is how you restitch your self together with acceptance, while unleashing that tiny bit of beautiful rebellion still sitting collapsed within you.

Revastra your Self, Sarees, and Clothing

A learning platform rooted in ancient Indian practices, circular fashion, and raw storytelling to align your body, mind, and wardrobe.

FEEL BETTER, LEARN WELL, LOOK GOOD, AND EXPRESS YOURSELF WITH AWARENESS AND AUTHENTICITY

These Revastra stories I write are not passive text to consume. They are the living philosophy and tools engineered for the exact friction you carry right now.
Every heavy, body-mind-wardrobe transition forces you to look at yourself differently. Whether it is the physical shift of menopause, postpartum, or post-surgery, the mental weight of building a brand, navigating a neurodivergent brain, or managing sensory overload of any kind.
Even holding an inherited saree wardrobe like I had off Amma is a battle to anchor an identity that feels temporarily lost.

Whatever threshold you are standing on, the struggle is identical: you are looking outside for answers that can only be restitched from within.

So, stop chasing the ‘exterior’. And begin from the ‘interior’.
These written archives and videos are my perspectives on all this thinking and living to bring ease to your daily life. If they strike a chord, do not let them sit dead on your screen. Turn your reading into physical motion.

Move from page to practice.

Shift into the physical and digital spaces designed to help you integrate these perspectives as rituals at your own pace.
